A Monday night thunderstorm knocked out electrical power to downtown Thomasville. Alabama Power Company’s Thomasville Office Manager Lori McCormick said a lightning strike was the culprit. “It was a lightning strike,” McCormick said. “The power was out in the downtown area for 3 hours and 33 minutes.” The power went out at about 9 p.m. and came back on just […]
