First Presbyterian Church of Jackson will celebrate its 150th anniversary Sunday, Jan. 15 at 2 p.m.
Pastor Taylor Morgan welcomes all to take part in this special celebration.
A reception will follow.
Everyone is invited to attend.
The Dravitan Civic Club is inviting everyone to join in the annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Celebration to be held on January 16.
The theme for this year is “Together We Can Be the Dream.” This will be a continuation of the dream he aspired to and became known for and is now a National Holliday. Come celebrate on this day and remember the challenges that King faced which give people the honor to celebrate each year.
It will be initiated with a Motorcade at 10 a.m. from Williams Temple CME Church, located at 206 Davis Avenue, and conclude at the New Hope #1 Church at 2338 Choctaw Corner Road in Thomasville.
Register now for Sweet Water High School kid’s baseball camp to be hosted
Feb. 2, 2023 from 8:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Forms are now available at the SWHS office.
The camp is for 2nd – 6th grade boys, t-shirt will be included and a lunch will be provided.
Registration cost is $50.
