Holland receives 2023 Meritorious Service to Forestry Award

Angela Holland was named as the recipient of the 2023 MFA Meritorious Service to Forestry Award. The Meritorious Service to Forestry Award is MFA’s highest honor. This award recognizes an outstanding lifetime contribution to forestry by the Mississippi Forestry Association.

Holland, works as the area marketing manager for Weyerhaeuser Company in Thomasville. She is a beloved member of the forestry community and is well-respected in the industry.

MFA Executive Director Casey Anderson commented on Holland’s dedication to forestry education stating, “Angela’s strong commitment to forestry and natural resources education is inspiring. She consistently goes above and beyond what is asked to ensure teachers receive educational resources that can be used in their classrooms.”
