Leroy High School Lady Bears Senior and Player Abbey Davidson signed on Thursday, Nov. 17 to play softball on scholarship at Coastal Alabama Community College in Monroeville.
Abbey’s junior year was cut short due to a wrist injury, but she still managed to hit .352 with a 483 OBP for the Lady Bears. Abbey has six career Home Runs and 56 RBI while hitting .326 in her three seasons as a Lady Bear.
Abbey is best known for her work on defense. The do it all defensive specialist has a rocket arm that will allow her to play catcher, third base or either middle infield positions at the next level.
