Myrtle Lois Phillps Roberts, 79, a homemaker of Fulton died Oct. 13, 2023 at her home. She was born Nov. 22, 1943 in Tallahatta Springs to Horrie Grey and Virgie Lee Phillips. She was a member of Bassett Creek Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Wayne Roberts; her parents; four sisters, Edna Agee, Pearlie Glass, Hazel Kelley, Nettie Bennett; two brothers, Allen Phillips and Cecil Phillips.

She is survived by four daughters, Dona (Odie) Turner, Karen (Randy) Newton, Susan (Tony) Goodman, and Lori (Robert) Stout; brother, Roy Phillips; four sisters, Peggy Daniels, Beverly Haskew, Jessie Stephens, and Carol Newton, seven grandchildren, Kelly (Donnie) Moulton, Joshua (Tara) Turner, Dillon Newton, Allison (Mathew) Goodman, Jordan (Patrice) Stout, Baylee Stout and Gage Baugh; 11 great-grandchildren, Grady Love, Ella Turner, Beck Turner, Mary Lee Knight, Sarah Crenshaw, Joey Scott, Clarabelle Scott, Jonah Stout, Abbie Dunavant (Scottie), Austin Turner, Jonathan Moulton; four great-great grandchildren, Zoe McBride, Sailor Dunavant, River Turner and Ridge Turner.

Funeral services were Oct. 16, 2023 at Bassett Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. William Allison officiating and O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home directing.

Burial followed at Bassett Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

Active pallbearers were Grey Davis, Matt Davis, Gage Baugh, Michael Phillips, Johnathan Moulton and Mathew Knight.
