TMS baseball goes 1-2 in home tournament

The Thomasville Middle School Tigers baseball team defeated Demopolis 10-2 in game one of the TMS Invitational at the Thomasville High School ball field.

Courtavion Holt was the winning pitcher. He pitched 5 innings and allowed 3 hits, 2 runs (2 earned), 2 walks, and struck out 12.

Holt had 2 hits, 2 RBI’s and scored 2 runs. Coleman Pilkington had 2 hits, 1 RBI and scored 1 run. Isaac Parten had 1 hit, 2 RBI’s and scored 2 runs. B.J. Cheeseboro had 1 hit and scored 1 run. Brayden Williams had 1 hit and 2 RBI’s.

In addition, TMS lost to St. Paul’s 6-0 on March 26.

Isaac Parten was the losing pitcher. He pitched 5 innings and allowed 6 hits, 6 runs (2 earned), 1 walk, and struck out 5.

 TMS lost 6-2 to Brewton Middle School on March 26.

B.J. Cheeseboro was the losing pitcher. He pitched 3 innings and allowed 4 hits, 5 runs (3 runs), 3 walks, and struck out 4.

Parten had 1 hit. Holt had 1 RBI.

The TMS team will host Sweet Water for a 4 p.m. doubleheader on April 4. TMS will also host Leroy for one 5 p.m. game on April 5.
